All my best wishes for your birthday! I had mine yesterday :) (my 23rd - but they say I look 17 so that's similar to yours ;)) Got here through postcrossing!
Jules!!! What a great, great pic!!!! Happy Birthday my friend! I hope you had a great day. It's beautiful weather here in DC, windy, with poofy cloudes, lots of sun, low humidity, and the temp is right in the mid 70's. Couldn't ask for anything better! Love ya! Sylvile
Hi, I wanted to wish you a very happy birthday! I saw your birthday coming up on the PostcardX birthday list but only yesterday so I thought I would post a birthday wish here. I am CI Scott on PostcardX. You've sent me a couple wonderful postcards for which I thank you. I plan to write back but I've gotten myself very behind on postcards both on PX and Postcrossing so it might take me a while. Sometimes I'm not good at juggling all that life throws at me.
I've been watching your blog the last few weeks. I enjoy reading about your adorable chickens. It reminds me of when I was little and my family raised chickens for eggs but of course us kids thought of them as pets.
My blog title originated from the moniker I used (still use) in the motorcycling community. I have been an active long-distance and touring motorcyclist since I
bought my first motorcycle in 2000. My current ride of choice is a Harley-Davidson Electra Glide, hence the name "girlonaglide". After re-reading the
definitions of girl and glide it dawned on me that the title still fits.
My riding days seem far behind me as I spend more time at my suburban home with my 3 cats, collection of paper art supplies, and husband of 17 years.
We occasionally busy ourselves with projects in the yard, such as growing organic vegetables and maintaining a butterfly garden.
Not often enough, we'll take on DIY projects for our "House of Potential". We bought this little fixer-upper quite some ago and have proven to
ourselves and all who know us that change doesn't happen fast here at our house.
I often daydream of living in or very near mountains where there's snow on the peaks and fertile soil beneath my feet. I'm originally from Indiana; a displaced Hoosier I'll always be.
I really have no business living in Florida but for now it is home.

And happy birthday!
Wow...
My guess would have been...5 or 6. Maybe 7. :)
Happy Birthday!
Oh the curses of looking so youthful. ;)
(I'm 33 and still get carded ALL THE TIME.)
A very happy birthday to you! 40's not too bad nor too old... Especially when 50 and 60 are considered the new 30!
Doesn't your 40th call for some kind of biking adventure? cross country or something?
Happy birthday, Juli!!!
Happy birthday! I've been in the 40 zone for a while and it's great. Chasing raccoons at night is not a sign of age, it's a sign of youth!
Happy belated birthday!
