What To Do When You Don't Feel Like Talking

I have lots of news and things of interest to post but I honestly don't feel like blabbing today, SO what to do instead? Give YOU something to talk about!

First, please recommend to me:
1. a movie
2. a book
3. a musical artist, song, or album

Now, ask me three questions. I have the right to refuse answering but that's not in my nature.

Movie: "Undercover Blues" with Dennis Quaid and Kathleen Turner... "Creator" with Peter O'Toole and Vincent Spano. Two of my most favorite overlooked gems.

Book: All the motorcycle books I like you've probably already read... so how about "Nobel House" by James Clavell (author of Shogun). It's a riveting, yet complicated novel I've read several times. NOT for the casual reader, however!

Music: Anything by Depeche Mode. "Songs of Faith and Devotion" and "Ultra" are a good place to start!

My Question: Where are you planning to ride this coming year?!?

Dave: It depends on whether I relocate to the Pacific NW. If I do, then I'll explore WA and OR, eventually BC. If I don't, then I'll head to TN, NC and KY to collect more national park stamps. I have until March 11 to collect three more states to have the 25 I need for "Master Traveler" with the Iron Butt Association.

Mimi: Hands down my favorite color is green. The glass is always half-full unless it's a bottomless cup of coffee which doesn't really mean much to me since I don't drink coffee. I find inspiration in all people at some point in time. Even the really shitty people inspire me to be a better person.

Master Foley: I'd like to visit Sweden. I have a childhood pen-pal from there and I'd love to see where she calls home. I had the pleasure of hosting her in '95 and I'd like us to reciprocate. My favorite pair of underwear are usually the ones that are on the floor, handily removed by someone else. Pecan pie is wunderbar, heated with some plain o' nilla ice cream.

1. I enjoyed the movie you recommended to me ...
Are you going to check out any of the ones I suggested to you?

2. I bought a book for you

3. I owe you an album (I didn’t forget)

Patrick: I will be honest, I seldom study the colors of the sand fragments while at the beach. Now I feel guilty for taking them for granted. I'll take a good long look the next time I'm out there scouring for shark's teeth and shells and see if there's a particular color that I could call a favorite. I would truly like to believe that no two snowflakes are alike. They're each perfect and beautiful in their uniqueness. I know several places that are good to get out of the rain... I simply can not choose one.
