About Me
- Name:Juli
- Location:Florida
My blog title originated from the moniker I used (still use) in the motorcycling community. I have been an active long-distance and touring motorcyclist since I
bought my first motorcycle in 2000. My current ride of choice is a Harley-Davidson Electra Glide, hence the name "girlonaglide". After re-reading the
definitions of girl and glide it dawned on me that the title still fits.
My riding days seem far behind me as I spend more time at my suburban home with my 3 cats, collection of paper art supplies, and husband of 17 years.
We occasionally busy ourselves with projects in the yard, such as growing organic vegetables and maintaining a butterfly garden.
Not often enough, we'll take on DIY projects for our "House of Potential". We bought this little fixer-upper quite some ago and have proven to
ourselves and all who know us that change doesn't happen fast here at our house.
I often daydream of living in or very near mountains where there's snow on the peaks and fertile soil beneath my feet. I'm originally from Indiana; a displaced Hoosier I'll always be.
I really have no business living in Florida but for now it is home.

I'm so sorry, Juli. What a shame that she was taken at such an early age. My sympathies to you and your family.

Hey Juli, thanks so so much for telling me about that mistake! I had no clue, and have been posting on all typepad blogs that way. Thanks again!
Joy.
Juli, even knowing it would happen, it was sad to hear your news. I'm so sorry.
Fix it...by Coldplay... When you have lost something that you can't replace. My prayers are with you.
